THE ALPHA COURSE is an exploration of Jesus and historic Christian faith.
It’s ideal for (1) those who already believe, but want to shore up the reasons for their hope — and (2) for those who are curious about Jesus and would appreciate exploring in a context of intelligent content and respectful discussion.
HISTORY: Alpha was developed in the 1980s by a London-based Anglican church, Holy Trinity, Brompton. It was adopted by other Anglican churches, as well as Catholic churches in the U.S., then broadly across multiple denominations.
FORMAT: All Alpha Courses are structured the same way: Start with a meal together, followed by the film/video content (hosted by the British couple pictured above) and finishes with group discussion/response to the video.
