Compassion in Action: Hope for Youth School Supply Packing Party

Hope For Youth provides services for children, youth, and families, spanning a continuum of care from out-patient, clinical and preventive services, to foster care, diagnostic and emergency residential services. The organization works with children as young as birth through 21 across the Long Island region. With six residential facilities, 35 foster homes and 165 staff members, Hope For Youth has grown into one of Long Island’s preeminent providers of services for children and families.

We want to send the children that Hope For Youth cares for back to school with all of the items they need to return to school ready, and maybe even with some things they may not need, but would want.  What better way to get it to them than with an amazing fun-filled day of food, games, BBQ, an ice cream truck and bouncy house!!

There are a few opportunities for you to get involved:

• Friday, August 9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm:  Join us for a Packing and Prep Party in the lower level Lounge where we’ll organize and pack all of the school supplies (and hopefully lots of extras). SCHOOL SUPPLY PACKING PARTY SIGN UP

• Saturday, August 17th from 10:00am to 3:30pm: We’ll meet at the church in the lower level Lounge to set up and gather supplies, then head over to Cedar Creek Park. BACK TO SCHOOL BBQ SIGN UP
  **Volunteers must consent to a background check.  Shortly after signing up you will receive an email from Christian Background Checks.  The last day to sign up to volunteer is Thursday, August 8th

• GIVE TO SUPPORT Compassion in Action: HOPE FOR YOUTH.  Your giving will go towards purchasing school supplies.  Securely give through PUSHPAY
